Controls University exists to modernize how Building Automation Systems professionals learn, practice, and grow. Our mission is to create scalable, engaging, and effective training that prepares the next generation of controls technicians, engineers, and operators.

We are an independent venture founded by BAS professionals with years of real-world experience in programming, commissioning, and servicing building automation and HVAC control systems. We’ve seen first-hand the challenges of traditional training: limited access, inconsistent exposure, and steep learning curves. We believe there’s a better way forward.

Controls University is built on a simple idea: BAS training should be immersive, realistic, and enjoyable. We are building a platform that will redefine how skills are developed and tested across the industry. Our approach is designed to benefit learners, integrators, training providers, and building owners alike.
